Krugman admits to be extreme this morning.

Krugman on This Week with Stephanopolis pretty much admits to being extreme. Someone made the point that 17% of the democrats are extreme Liberals to which Krugman chimed in chuckling that he spends a lot of time talking to extreme liberals. If he can be honest enough to admit it - you should too.

<<<< Half the country is still living near the poverty level while the fat cats are partying>>>>

And many who did not listen to the idealist who suggested they borrow more money are doing just fine. The defining line that you don't want to admit Koan is between ideologies. If you were economically conservative and didn't borrow more than you could realistically pay back - whether you were poor or rich - you are doing fine. It is those who took our second loans on their home or used their homes as ATM's that are hurting and many are pushed into bankruptcy.

Now granted, unemployment is 7.7% and some of those are innocent victims. But if you think of maybe a normal unemployment rate of 4% well that means maybe something like 4% is the rate that can be applied to the downturn. That's awful I will admit, but most of those numbers are the responsible to the bust in construction spending. So address the specifics of that problem. ( a vision of Germany's solar program comes to mind) Address that but don't mortgage our future to do it. .........I agree completely that the rich should be taxed more - but every single person that I listened to on Sunday talk shows said that isn't enough - and it's NOT.
