And it has been EXTENSIVELY studied. As well, we now know that only a small percentage of what presents has to do with gene structure. Mainly it involves the switches that turn genes on and off and regulate their behaviour. All babies begin as females in the early stages. So it can easily be propounded that everyone has human genes (humans being BOTH male and female) and that these genes are (obviously) present in all humans. All humans after conception can go male or female (BOTH OPTIONS ARE AVAILABLE). So it is reasonable to think that we all have the same genes and it is the switches that count. Human genes are human genes. Nobody has found a homosexual gene! But defective genes have certainly been found! Your idea that a virus could cause such a sexual orientation without all sorts of other effects is rather naive. Ask any biologist. To make it simple for you: Homosexuality has been extensively studied. NO GENETIC MUTATIONS have been found responsible. In an abnormal state (such as Albinism)--genetic mutations are obvious. Not so with people such as Tchaikovsky or Dr. Kildare (the Richard guy). It was simply a part of their human nature. I accept this. They are just as human as I am and more human than a lot of people. I love women. And if I was told I was abnormal by society, and if society tried to coerce me into loving men and having sex with men, I would say, "Go finger or hand yourself"...Because I cannot change my Nature. So if I am unwilling to change (and I assume you are unwilling to change, as well), then why should we treat other people with such ignorance and smug contempt? Isn't it time we stopped getting our self esteem from finding others to put down just because their gene switches are in the on or off position for something???
