This legal powerhouse & former George Bush Solicitor General Ted Olsen championing same sex marriage cases before the Supreme Court , just find delightfully serendiptous . Another challenge to the continued crumbling conservative bullworks in the face of post 9/11 milieu which finds it a busy time now trying to redefine how to wipe their asses & regroup to make common sense on their own without the safety net of the religious fundamentalist whacked out coalitions backing up their every play ( which for decades they managed in getting away with, Nixon being the most laughable). Solon actually makes the finest statement here of the entire affair that we have far more real problems in this lifetime requiring cooperation and intelligent discourse. There is no time (or money) to arresting our attention to discriminating people for sexual orientations or who loves or who marries who or who boinks who. The change has been swift as you can see since the fundamentalist terrorist attacks on 9/11 or other instances since Waco Texas to Abortion Clinic Doctors being killed, to Warren Jeffs latest escapades on his polygamy ranches in AZ. And of course the pederasty of the Catholic priests that scandalised the last few decades, so much for fundamentalist crumbling edifices right before your very eyes. But you can lock up a million people for smoking pot for a failed drug war that costs stupid billions every year, good job there Reagan and prisons costing counties & states billions. And we know why the mostly conservative Fed is so reluctant don't we?
