Everyone is owed what they invested in the system, plus accumulated interest.

SS is a pension.
Medicare...health insurance scheme in which you make payments for about 40 years while not being able to use it; payments which continue your entire life.

Most of us did, at some point; I spent my summers working in canneries. 15 months in a cannery, over a period of 5 years, ain't about much. 40 years in a period of 40 years breaks down the body a lot faster.

The elder already indentured themselves for those youths.
It's payback time. I know those kids might not have wanted to go to school, or play in parks, or play on the streets the elders built, but they did it anyway. Now they have to pay it back.
