Her tenure as SS has repositioned her in the public mind, giving her an open path to the nomination over much weaker likely rivals.
It seems also that her tenure as SS has worn her right out, understandably.

I hope she gets a lot of rest and relaxation between now and 2016, then makes the move. I think she'd probably make a great President. More so now than before she had the experience of the last four years.
