I agree with you. Been buying on dips below $2.60 - We do need a recovery in gold price, but I think patience will prove rewarding in this case.
Looks cheap to me.

There are pros and cons to your thesis. One of the largest cons is that bema was widely owned this year by some of the major gold funds. Most of those holdings have been sold and as I have mentioned is some of my previous posts, a lot of those fund managers believe that information was not given to them on a timely or forthright basis. Unfortunately, this will deprive bema of a substantial amount of investment dollars. The company is not beyond overcoming this negative stigma, which would probably take a combination of much higher bullion prices along with some very interesting new discoveries. Not a likely scenario in the near and intermediate future.
I do agree that its affiliation with Placer Dome cannot be underestimated. Again money will flow into Placer prior to anything flowing into bema. Mining markets have memories like an elephant.
