"Stop burning Exxon's gasoline everytime you go out"

Many, many years ago.

" to buy weed"
Don't do that, either, even if I didn't grow my own this year.

"then you should radically change your lifestyle"

That would be very counterproductive. I'd prolly have to leave my lights, TV, and computer on all night. I'd have to drive from the post office, where I would let my truck idle while I picked up my mail, to the bank, 100 yards away, where I would violate their rules by letting it idle at the drive-in window. Then I'd have to drive to the store, across the street, where, sadly, it would prolly get stolen if I let it idle. (Then I'd have to buy a box of plastic shopping bags from out of state). (Also old-fashioned light bulbs).
cawrecycles.org Then to the nursery across the street to buy chemical fertilizer. Then to Phil's Notexxon to fill up. Then to both county lines, so I could fill up again. No more of this 1 tank a month crap. Maybe use my dishwasher after every meal. Maybe skip dishwashing, and drive to town for 3 squares a day.Burn the clothesline. I'd have to forget we have recycling laws.
That's way too much work.
I'd even have to pay somebody to paint my white roof black. Does this mean I need to buy an air conditioner?
Oh...

fer sale...6 year old solar PV set-up.
