This grant money goes far and wide. I responded to a project that was attempting to assess the climate of a small rodent called Pikas. They live only at high elevations, and I knew were there were at least two colonies of them. They were doing fine. At least the red hawks congregated around where I saw them. I'm not a climate change denier. I'm a denier that we've always had it and always will, and there's not a dang thing we can do about it. Except buy a Prius, right?
