Thanks! I was not able to find an unprotected version of the gasification article but the fuel cell article was readily available. I liked what the latter article had to say about Alter: Waste2Tricity has only found one suitable, commercially proven technology: the Westinghouse plasma-assisted gasifier, being developed by AlterNRG. This process reduces parasitic losses by using the plasma to maintain gasification temperatures rather than raise them. It is used in two Japanese plants.
