i dont know anything about either company spending 5 minutes with lrad i see little to recommend. share price is down as revenue and profits plummetted. seeking alpha writeup in early 2012 predicted .23 in earning for the year .04 is what was achieved. so far it looks like a an underachieving microcap. the company attributing its performance to facing headwinds in the defence industry. whats going to change? the way you make a big score on something like that is if you know that the company has a new product that will be in demand in the near future. I dont have that kind of info. do you?

I have several close relatives who still work there. Ursla Burns bought ACS to diversify away from the mainstays which IMO is dying a slow death. IMO she's a sub par CEO. The service business is the breadwinner IMO. I owned it before and got out with a profit. She's still looking to build on the service business through niche acquisitions.

In Oct. had some earlier opinion on the industry in general.

>The biggest commercial printer R.R. Donnelley prints phone books. How many use the phone books any more? Many past printed items can now be viewed on the internet. Are Xerox, HP & Kodak (Next Press) going to be selling as much small specialized printing equipment? This when someone can now download books on the Nook or Kindle. I know documents & books still need to be printed, but with Lexmark & Kodak exiting their PC printing business. I think this is an indicator to where the trend is headed. IMO-Just store it somewhere on a cloud till it needs to be printed.

Sergio - LRAD is very small. On XRX its looks pretty leveraged 3.1x- Not a good thing going forward. I haven't taken a look at them, but i believe the have been turning around their business.

If they talk of paying off their debt/ doing significant buybacks, i guess i will look at them. but in my (non-technical) opinion, to invest in a firm like XRX, i would want to see some hard catalysts. Do you see any?
