I would think an organization of gold producers (I don't know if such a thing exists) would be puting a lot of pressure on the CB's to do this. All the statements by CB of late have served to decimate a lot of these cos. Any other industry has their watchdog groups (lobbyists) who use their power to put pressure on govts. who act against their interests.
