It's been proven that tax rates don't correspond to economic activity. The Clinton years weren't bad times, as I recall. The "high" Clinton taxes didn't send us into the economic ditch. The "low" tax rates of the Bush years created the least number of jobs of ANY two term presidency.

I agree. Let the Democrats own this. Let them raise taxes on over $250k. Or even like Buffett says. $500k.
