FED is buying all the bonds from the Treasury these days. They need to accumulate more of the national debt. $3 trillion this year to $4 trillion next year on their balance sheet.

It costs us $35 a crack to write a check that bounces
now if instead of it being called a check and we change
it to a Bond we'd be our own Fed.
