Keep in mind that with higher incomes, the mortgage deduction phases out any way.

Pay off your mortgage and put all of your interest expense into a business - if you can.To the degree your business has income it can be offset by business interest expense.

The problem with the Fed and their QE's along with our government stimulus packages is Economic Failure. Take the debt accumulated the last 10 years and subtract that from their GDP growth rates over the same time period and you get negative growth. To see it any other way is foolish and ignorant,imo.
