"will cisco be the only survivor?"I don't have a crystal ball, and the
experts argue among themselves, for instance their are a few that think
Intel and MSFT will wipe all the Networkers off the face of the earth
including CISCO.You know stocks is stocks and the only thing I know
for sure is 5 years from now people will still be drinking coke and
if you want that kind of security buy KO ,but the techs are a nasty
bit,the jungle, survival of the fittest and all that "tommy-rot"--but
my SWAG is that Cisco will remain Lord of the Netwokers and Bay-Com
will be its healthy competitor, like by the year 20002.
But for now if 3Com were to go to 25 I am in for more on a LONG PLAY
---but to placate Craig,I would have to call such a buy a Speculation
--odds in my favor.Max

<< I want to commend you for posting nothing about this debacle, since it happened. >>

Nobody wants to hear an "I told you so".

<< Will csco be the only survivor? >>

COMS will survive. They will recover but not for a while...

Will csco be the only survivor? Sort of looks that way. It's the only one of the large networkers making a new high this year, as far as I know. Tulvio
