"It appears that you are the one quote mining anything that downplays the overtly sexual definitions of pederasty and also imposes a definition that amounts to a denial of Pederasty”

You’re just being dishonest; gregoree (what else is new!) -g-

I simply pointed out that Greek pederasty was not limited to anal sex but in fact covered myriad relationships both carnal and erotic depending on the City State involved. I pointed out that in Sparta, all males were expected to have a pederastic relationship, but that carnal involvement (any physical sexuality) was taboo and would lead to exile or death.

Your selective modern definitions deny the great majority of the pederasty that existed at that time. And that is fine. But ignoring the facts about pederasty in Ancient Greece does not modernise it or make it a tiny subculture. It was THE CULTURE of the Greeks. Admit it and live with it! Stop dancing around the Mayberry Bush.

“almost always involves the Man screwing the Boy up the ass.”

I can sense your fascination with this topic that you brought up and have panted over for months! Of course, nobody (except you) was ever talking about modern day pederasty except as to contrast it with the ubiquitous culture that was Greece where anal sex was rare.

“you think these kinds of abusive "relationships" are an eminently noble enterprise”

I don’t think any abusive relationship is noble and I have said so many times. I believe in the rights of consenting people to have any relationship they choose. The Greeks wanted a pederastic culture. It was their social moral framework. They could have been forced by others to conform to some other moral code. But that would have entailed burning them, hanging them, cutting out their tongues and removing other body parts, disembowelling them, etc. And I just don’t agree with that sort of thing.

“the boys are eternally grateful for the abuse.”

It was not abuse in Greek culture. Even the gods encouraged it as the moral way to create good citizens. And you know how pious people can get in religion, don’t you!?

So to return to the top regarding your dishonesty. We all know that you are dishonest on a full-time basis. What we don’t completely know is, why? Could it be sociopathy combined with your affective disorder? I believe so.
