You would lose if you said 150 times a year, or "only once". "you could borrow or hire someone to do it for you." Well, I could hire somebody to grade my driveway, or I can shovel base rock into the truck and repair it by hand. Which way makes less CO2? Remember, somebody has to bring that cat from somewhere else, on a big truck. "You should be driving a lot less anyway." Yup... one tank/month; 90% decrease. Requires discipline; takes talking yourself out of unnecessay trips. "You don't need to haul all that stuff" No, you don't need to haul all that stuff. My back yard is a lot bigger than yours.
