Fields said following that order violated his religious rights. The judge said Fields did not have to attend, but had the option to send others, so his religious rights were not violated. The judge added, even if Fields had been ordered to go, he did not have to partake of the religious services being offered at the event. A more honest response would have been: “On Thursday I asked that President Obama no longer consider me for the job of secretary of state. I made this decision because it is the right step for consolidating progressive control over crackers who cling to guns and religion. I have never shied away from a fight for a cause I believe in. But, as it became clear that my potential nomination would undermine the successful campaign by President Obama’s media lapdogs to squelch any inquiry into his malfeasance in not protecting Americans, his cowardice in not defending them, and his dishonesty in describing the slaughter of four Americans, including our Ambassador. Obama’s work of destruction is nearly done. It would be a shame if the nomination fight were to prevent his finishing the job.”
