Every god has been egotistical in a larger than normal sense.
Every god has seeked abnormal recognition.
Gods, themselves, are far more of a problem than a solution if you think about it.
Exercising extraterrestrial influence over a lesser species is probably available to most any ET.
If we traveled and found a lesser species manipulating that species could be seen as a piece of cake.
We have lab rats that would testify to that.
Your god has enjoyed brute force and, yes, torture.

ET gods, ( and I believe they're all ET's ) make it their primary business to be seen as all powerful.
They're not, at all, all powerful. That is a facade.
It is the exercise of influence over and between dim witted animals ( here ) that accomplishes their agenda.
In many ways they're cowards.

If your god isn't extraterrestrial what is he?
