the demagoguery is all on their side. Selling free enterprise is a tough thing to do. Individualism over conforming to society is not the way most people want to go. We are a social people. It's our nature. Those that think like you and me are in the minority. Well said. Individualism - as a basis for society - is a very recent idea. As the saying goes, only in America (or at least used to be). "Normally" people tend to be a tribe, controlled by politically astute Alphas. By intuitive Alinskyites.
