Many good points but I think the middle really does pay too much, mainly because payroll taxes are not invested... they are just a fraudulent name given to another way of collecting revenue to redistribute with more going to MDs and hospitals and military contractors than probably goes to benefits... or saving to afford to pay MY BENEFITS when my time comes to retire. It is all a PONZI scheme and the really big boyz at the top of BOTH parties want to keep us fighting over the trivia.
Time to educate the masses.
No KIDDING! I am convinced that students are poorly taught math because the unionized teachers in CA and other states with massive, unfunded obligations, don't want their voters to know just how much they owe down the road.

I am doing my part to try and educate other with this article of how the U.S. Borrowed 51.6¢ Of Every Dollar Spent In November 2012

What amazes me, dig into the raw data....

If we DOUBLED all income taxes collected for the month... $75,027M, it would still be a deficit!!!!

Good Morning Bob, I fully agree on all points... I would love to see ovomit down on his knees begging for mercy from the Republicans... frankly, I don't see why so many political pundits say that the Republicans have a weak hand, I think they ought to walk out and wait for that moron in the White House to snap out of his delusional trance... no matter what happens, it's his economy now already, he needs to stop blaming Bush... can you believe it? After 4 years he's still blaming Bush... and people still swallow it whole... LOL!!!

If it weren't so pathetic, it would be hilarious...

Maybe, these elected clowns realize the Bush Tax cuts need to expire and that is what they will let happen. This country is addict to easy money without consequences.
Time for the bull$hit to end, imo.

It will be very hard to make 10% of immediate cuts in defense without cutting current government jobs and contracts to companies that will cut jobs. The press will love to do stories on white collar defense workers losing their jobs at Christmas because of the fiscal cliff. The DOD is like a large battleship that can not turn easily to avoid short term change.
