I just got off the phone Mike, CSMA's financial advisor in Irvine, CA 1-800-733-0087.

Here is my quick report:

#1 priority to get listed on a major exchange
just got through with meetings - has more
form 10 filling is complete now
tomorrow they will figure out a way to get info to shareholders
said Pickens deal is pending
would take only 2 days to drill
all measures in proxy were passed without any objections
there is a reverse split clause - don't worry they will avoid using it
the Dec 10 financial date was not right - it is ready now
year end proffits not so good - interiem better - no news there
they look at SI, but don't feel they can comment here
LPS limited - Mike said " WAHOO"
"you will like what you hear" "stay with us" "3-6 months looks good"
"no bad news is coming"

there you have it
I liked Mike, worn out, but very very helpful.

Thanks Mike.

Bye all for now.

<<<<<Level II showed the 4 MM on the ask again, doing the same thing that they did a
couple of weeks ago. Some are selling, to be sure but these MMs are providing strong
downward pressure. They will continue to short for now so the stock seems to be
headed lower. Not good for those with weak stomachs.>>>>>>>>>>

The function of a market maker is to maintanin liquidity in the stock. He does so by lowering the price when faced with sellers and raising the price when there are buyers and in the process, he makes money. Sometimes known as legalized theft.
I guess I don't understand how market makers work their magic. Could you explain why a market maker would "short" a stock? Are they trying to drive the price down so they will have cheap shares to sell when the buyers come in? I just don't understand the way this works.
