How does that make sense? You're going to sell Lipitor over the counter? Blood pressure medicine? Antibiotics (which, would be a huge problem since well-intentioned people would take them for every minor ailment, destroying the effectiveness of them)?

I think any drug not subject to abuse should be available without a prescription.
EVERY drug is subject to abuse.

When birth control pills become OTC, just watch as little girls start popping them like candy thinking they'll grow bigger breasts.
