Refilling cartridges can get messy!

Cheers, PW.

Well, thats just it. I dont refill cartridges either. The bulk dispense tank keeps dummy cartridges continuously filled.

Refilling the bulk tank is a very easy operation indeed.

Here is the refill procedure, even while the printer is running.

However, I dont even use a syringe. The refill bottles I use have a nozzle you cut to size with a scissor, and its just a matter removing and switching the cap. I have only refilled the tanks once in a year. I have printed thousands of pages of documents and photographs in that year.

Of course you have to put the right colour into the right tank, and not cope over the whole mess as the tanks contain a huge amount of ink. Thats why I keep them in a berm clamped in place.... so others cant knock them over or off the printer table by accident.

I use cheap ink too, I can always buy another printer as they are cheap, but so far its worked out very well indeed.
