Gary: I can no longer process daily quotes with the QP2 32-bit beta on my laptop computer, after updating the beta today. I can still process quotes on the other computer, and I installed the update on that, too.
After the quotes are downloaded on the laptop, I get a page fault in QP_Proc.exe saying, "This program has performed an illegal operation." I tried reinstalling the program and the update, to no avail. Could this be due to missing dll files on the laptop? (I tested the QP Proc.exe application with First Aid and it says I'm "missing dynamic link library." First Aid searched for the missing files and couldn't find them.) Since I could process quotes before the update, should I try reinstalling the program without the update?

Thanks.

Brooke

Here are the dynamic links that First Aid says QP Proc.exe needs is missing on the laptop:

Gary: The fault I get with QP Proc.exe seems to occur after I try to download when the file isn't ready yet. In other words, it occurs after running QP Proc.exe when there's nothing to process. After it runs once, there doesn't seem to be an easy way to get rid of the error. I tested QP Proc.exe today by double clicking on it (when there was nothing to process), and it worked, after not working all last night. But when I tried it again, I get the fault. Is a file created in any directory after running it once, a file that I can delete?

Gary -

I'm a new 1.1 user and I have not seen the Version 2 beta. But I have couple of enhancement requests (and if they're already in there, just tell me to RTFM or wait for Version 2).

1. Option for multiple technical indicators to be shown at once, or maybe a row of small fast-to-click-on buttons to switch indicators.

2. Buttons for the most popular timeframes or buttons for timeframe zoom in/out and max zoom in/out. The current numbered buttons for saved settings would be enough for just switching timeframes or just switching indicators, but not enough to zoom in/out timeframe-wise on various indicators.

3. A way to flag symbols in the Charting program, and then a way save (save or append?) all flagged symbols to a new list. Maybe with keyboard shortcut keys to flag/unflag the current chart and some indication of flagged/unflagged state. Basically, a way to easily flag charts, while paging through them, so that you can save just the currently interesting ones to a new list for further studies. I guess the current way to do this would be to delete charts you don't like as you page through them, and then save the list under a new name.

BTW - the program is very nice.
