You are so right... If any gun nut such as you or a "liberal" school teacher's son can just walk into any gun show and then just walk out with one these "protection devices" that the Founders wanted him to have, why on earth can he not carry them into an airport or a school or a bar or a church or the local Starbucks, or crowded shopping mall, or,..? So what if he is wearing a bullet proof vest....that is what all "well regulated militia" types, with their concealed muskets, wore in their airports, grade schools, Starbucks,... in the 18th century.

Isn't the school a no gun zone? How'd that work out? heard this on Levin's radio show..........regarding the theater killings in Longmont Colorado, .........there were 7 theaters in that town showing the Batman movie that night within 20 minutes driving distance. The killer did not go to the closest to his home.....nor to the largest.......he picked the ONE and only ONE that just happened to ban concealed handguns. In addition, in the Va. Tech shooting, the campus was a no carry zone. Had a professor, for example, been caught with a handgun, he would have been fired.....likely to never teach again....a pretty stiff deterrence. Had the shooter not committed suicide, he would have been executed.......apparently not a deterrence at all. In fact, the large majority of these multiple killings occurring in otherwise right to carry states occur in a very tiny % of areas declared "No Carry Zone". Coincidence? I doubt it.
