>re: "retail reports out on the initial PC sales over the Thanksgiving holiday showed they were down to flat from last year" Boy, that's hard for me to believe, the North Canton Best Buy that was well stocked last week literally has half-empty shelves this evening (Tuesday 12/2), and they are so busy that you can't get anyone to wait on you (even though there are 6-12 people working the computer dept.). There were some fantastic buys in last Thursday's papers, and I think that everyone sold out of their promo systems (a mix of Intel, AMD and Cyrix based 166 to 200 MHz systems). Plenty of other stuff appears to be going also. Barry Watzman
