The bottom line is that the State Dept is circling the wagons. Those who can get out -- like Ambassador Rice -- are fleeing the scene. Others are trying to avoid Congressional testimony at all costs.

If we the people ever manage to work some regular and public accountability into our government, there will be real hope for effective change.
If the current lack of public accountability continues to prevail, forget about it.
