here seems to be an awful lot people out there who are emotional flatliners and are lacking in empathy. Who knows how much of that is drug induced...how many of them are ticking time bombs?

Whether drug induced or not, The killings in Newtown were insane. There have been and will be more insane shootings.
Taking away guns from law abiding citizens will not fix that.

This is the old wolf, sheep, and protective sheep dog story.
The farmer loses his sheep dogs. Wolf kills sheep. Government demands all sheep dogs be turned over to animal control.
The shooter was the wolf, the unarmed faculty were the missing sheep dogs and the students were the sheep.

93 Americans were killed by cars yesterday. 93 more will be killed by cars today. When do they start trying to take cars away.
