Like I told Ten...with 300 million guns already in the hands of citizens the only recourse left us is fortification of our schools and vulnerable institutions. so...every school, every movie theater, every sporting event, shopping center, every public gathering place,etc. not possible cost wise and likely ineffective any way. The Israelis, with a long history of terrorism, initially tried your approach.....flooding the likely spots with Israeli soldiers/police. They came to the conclusion it required far too many soldiers at a prohibitive cost. Plus....an armed terrorist could always pick his spot and time......and in lieu of that shoot the soldier/police FIRST. So, they started in the 70s to allow concealed weapons in the general Israeli population to the point that now about 15% of Jewish Israelis have concealed weapons permits. The national police even implore the citizenry in times of increased terrorist attacks to make sure they carry their weapons. You liberals should for once think through what you want to do to a natural conclusion. Unfortunately, I don't think it is possible. I'd for starters get rid of all these "Gun Free Zones" Look at the history. Everywhere gun control is imposed, violent crime rises. Washington DC has some of the most draconian gun control laws around. It is also racked with violent crime. Ditto by Text-Enhance">Nanny State Queen Michael Bloomberg’s hellhole called New York City. Citizens are defenseless but criminals didn’t get the memo. They still have guns.

But every time we have a gun massacre they go into their innocent masquerade and become all so indignant. Their hypocrisy makes me sick to my stomach. Like I told Ten...with 300 million guns already in the hands of citizens the only recourse left us is fortification of our schools and vulnerable institutions...then we can have gun battles in the parking lots of our schools instead of the classrooms. It's an insane world they've helped create...but here we are. Actually Al, its the kids' fault. Had they been carrying this massacre could have been prevented. It comes from poor parenting. From the age of 3, parents should be teaching their kids how to fire a weapon. Instead, they spoil them with toys and reading material. Their negligence is disgusting.
