In his Terror and Liberalism, Paul Berman argued against Huntington, that distinct cultural boundaries don't exist in present day, that there is no "Islamic civilization" nor a "Western civilization". And that the evidence for a civilization clash is not convincing, esp when considering the relationship such as that between the United States and Saudi Arabia. As proof for this directly , the Bush family have quietly & smartly adopted a third son known as "Bandar Bush" who regularly stays @ the Texas Ranch, embraced as a son but more importantly has some 7% or the US GDP worth of monies here, near $800-9Bil.
