Jay- I did call the company after the earnings report last time and left a message complaining about the statement of the CEO. We should perhaps call the company again and remind them of this when it's closed to the next earnings. I have the feelings that the CEO will not make that kind of statement this time around as a bunch of institutions just bought 3M shares at $28 and they won't be happy if the stock won't get back past 28. Btw, today is the one year aniversary of Mr Greenspan issuing that famous "irrational exhuberance" warning a year ago. He is due to make a speech tonight in New York. Hopefully, his speech will cancel out the effect of bad news in the tech sector today. Mike.
