Tony I must say I'm a bit confused of late as to how well the relationships between USR & TI are holding up since USR was bought by COMS. USR and TI have a deal or partnership in the x2 DSL, but, I don't know how they read.

Rockwell in the last couple of days issued a press release which mentions USR as one company planning on using their new chips for cable modems. I have yet to see anything from COMS on this, however, if true it could show a break between TI and 3COM's USR division.

As for Aware licensing AMTX DMT...I don't think we'll see that! It would lend credence to the AMTX DMT patents...or more correctly, it would indicate Aware is not confident of it's own patents on DMT.

It is possible I guess AWRE & AMTX/TI could sign a deal to prevent any patent problems...time will tell. Nothing will happen until the AMTX/TI deal is done. IMO
