I was recently up for jury duty here in Oregon, and it was with some disgust that I listened (each day for a month) to the jury instructions which tell you to leave all weapons, sharp objects, yada yada in your car. You can't take them into the court room. But the same freaking judicial system which wants to exclude such objects in their own environment, thinks that when I walk down a street, its perfectly fine that any passersby could pose a risk to me, with me being quite unaware of who is a risk.

If SCOTUS thinks my community can't decide themselves which strategy to follow for safety, then I believe the judges should work in a similar environment to what they create for the rest of us.
