Its the jurors who are requested to leave their firearms behind. The criminals are already in police custody in a courtroom. If owning and caring firearms is deemed useful for protection, then why shouldn't they be carried into a courtroom by jurors?

Most the argument after one of these disasters is whether more guns or less guns will make things better. The NRA thinks more is better everywhere. For some reason, we have collectively decided that that logic breaks down in certain situations (as you are saying). Like on airplanes. Its a bit funny to see the great inconvenience, expense and hassle America goes through at airports while trumpeting the 2'nd Amendment as a pillar of our freedom. LOL funny actually. Idiot Nation....
