Having a character name lurch would never pass the PC test. It seems unlikely that either a character or a car named Thing would fly in todays overreaching PCness.

Evidently the photolink I posted was copyrighted. At least it isn't showing anymore. It was a poster photo of the Addams Family including Lurch and the "Hand."
