Now the Bernanke scam is trying to reinflate the same exact scheme through ZIRP and MBS purchases. Unbelievable, how criminal these people are. All it does is encourage people who simply cannot afford a house to lever up to get one, with inevitable consequences. Homes are quite affordable in much of the country. In fact probably as affordable as any time since the mid 1960's. yet other areas are as you described are way overpriced now driven by first the housing bubble and supported by record low rates in this 'recovery'.. How do these drastic micro differences jive with you broad based macro view?
