No, they are clueless. They know nothing about guns that they didn't learn from a crime drama on TV.

Do liberals know that the more they preach about banning guns in the media, the more guns the other half of the country will buy? No, they never realize the unintended consequences of what they do.

And I think that is a good thing -- that law-abiding citizens are buying more guns in droves. The better armed we are, the safer we are and the more difficult it will be for them to take them away from us.

I agree with restricting gun ownership for the mentally disabled, but I also agree with restricting gun ownership for felons too. However, that does not mean you restrict gun ownership for everybody. Also, another point that hasn't been discussed is how Adam Lanza got to the kindergarten where the massacre occurred. If he was operating a vehicle, I question whether that was appropriate and by the same token, just because mentally disabled people shouldn't drive vehicles, that doesn't mean vehicles should be eliminated.
