Limiting guns to six rounds might have a dampening effect on these mass slaughters. Without multiple big clips, the shooters would have to stop and reload after six shots. If a person was caught with multiple big clips, you could just assume he was up to no good. What's a VALID argument FOR big clips?

The 20 year old that slaughtered those 6 and seven year olds wouldn't have had access to his mom's Bushmaster with it's multiple big clips, since they would have been illegal.

When six guns were popular, a LOT of people carried them - mostly in the west. Times have changed. I don't know what the homicide rate was then - do you have any actual stats, or were you just making shit up based on movies and TV shows?

As for deer hunting, REAL men do it like this:

In Pursuit Of An Ancient PursuitTrying to run down a deer Indian-style, he was at first aware only of the challenge of the chase. Then he knew he'd never seen anything so beautiful
