>> Here's some stats:

So, why do you think Switzerland is on that list, given they are in the top five in per-capita gun ownership in the world? Why is Sweden on the list, considering they are tenth in the world?

Switzerland is completely different from the US..........every male is expected to serve in the military. At the end of their military service, they are issued a gun to take with them home and keep available for defense. That's how the Swiss expect to defend their homeland should it get invaded. Its an obligation of citizenship.

As for Sweden, there are 31 guns for every 100 Swedes; in Switzerland, there are 45 guns for every 100 Swiss; in the US, there are 90 guns per every 100 Americans.Do you see a difference?

The US is obsessed with guns, violence and war. You see in our movies, our video games and our music. Its become an integral part of our culture and has to be stopped.

If the possession of guns were the problem, does it make sense to you that these two countries would be near the top in ownership and near the bottom in killings?

Those countries have strong gun laws. We have virtually none. That's another huge difference.

Its done, o wise one. Stick a fork in it. We can't continue to go this way. We have to change.
