Nothing to fight about. Protecting ones family is neither a right or left political issue. I was in LA during the same period and your portrayal of the city is bs.

Why would anybody give up the ability to protect themselves from the perps that will always have weapons and will always disregard the laws society lives by?

Gun fire is a daily occurrence in south central LA .... The mayor and police have never controlled the gangs which are global now.

You're trying to change the subject. Again.

The point is there is no evidence that gun control reduces gun violence. And to go off on that tangent simply gives us all an excuse to stand by and watch as the problem continues to get worse.

If you really want to solve the problem I suspect a better approach would be to control free speech, which permits Hollywood and game makers to pound violence into the heads of these nutjobs.

Did you ever play a "first person shooter" game? GTA, for example?

There is very little doubt these games have something to do with these crimes; yet, the left seems fine with those, while going after guns, where there is not [contrary to your comments] substantial correlation and certainly no evidence to suggest a connection.
