<<TO ALL: I got this email.......>> PV. Very Interesting Post. Glad to know we're not the only ones who suspect 3Com leaked this information to selected analysts weeks ago. The way this whole "inventory writedown" episode has played out is very troublesome; Eric B. and the 3Com management have lost a great deal of credibility. From now on I will be much more receiptive to negative news from analysts, given 3Com's record on this affair. I hope 3Com's price gets spanked into the high teens, just to get Eric B.'s attention. A really hard hit (pricewise) might generate a few shareholder lawsuits; here, here! Valentino
