I am new to this company and not that familiar with their history. I am wondering what the potential is that they released this warning nice and early so that it can be digested before any good news they might have in the wings. would a stock buy back be a potential here?? Someone mentioned a buyout possibility...Is that possible with their recently announced aquisition of DEC?? Who would be the most likely sutiors and what would the potential price targets be?? Does CS have the ability to crawl out of this on their own??

I agree, I sold ASND and bought CS.
Maybe CS will be an even trade for ASND sooner than we know?!
I would probably go back to ASND if that situation developed,
however unlikely since they are in the same sector, but not totally out of the question.

<< IMHO, ASND will join CS in the teens and it will then be time load up on that one too. >>

Do you think ASND is about to miss their earnings estimate ?

Just for the sake of argument: Maxtor stock droped from $20 to $5 and never recovered even though they are still in business, Conner stock droped and could not recover untill SEG bought them out. I believe the reason for their failure was a small delay in the technology race and complete inability to catch up with the leaders. What makes you think CS will be able to catch up??

BTW Maybe BAY's turnaround is the main reason for CS failure?
