I'll bet that for every incident like that there are hundreds where the armed citizen sits and watches.... They carry guns to muster courage but freeze when its needed..something like W on the stool in that school..

Woman w/ concealed weapon stops armed robbery

I think a lot of these type incidents go largely unreported. All should be accurately reported including any that go awry or do not stop an armed crime. How better to get an accurate evaluation of the effectiveness of people with concealed weapons permits deterring/stopping crime?
