those asian business owners in LA during the rondey king riots used those guns to protect their businesses and it worked, the rioters looted and burnt down the businesses not protected with them
They had to. Lily white police chief Darryl Gates was more concerned about protecting Beverly Hills than the Korean-owned stores in the "black neighborhoods."

Unfortunately the only person shot and killed by the Korean store owners was another Korean. Friendly fire ... isn't.

There isn't a Korean-owned business in L.A. without a gun anymore.
