I don't agree with him about using driver updates for your computer that the manufacture does not have. Last year I was having problems with my video card in my Toshiba notebook, I could not do some heavy duty 2D tasks without problems occurring.

I ran BIT, BurnInTest and 2D failed. Sent the log file to the maker of the program, he said out dated driver, or a system board failure.

I tried updating the Nvidia drivers from the video card website as per the Nvidia tech support agent. Well my problem still existed and I had major bugs, now with 3D video was haywire.

So I restored an image to get rid of those new drivers that didn't do anything but cause problems. About 2-3 months went by and Toshiba notified me that new video drivers were available, and I installed them and it fixed my issue.

I ran BIT and passed 2D with flying colors.

So I would warn people to be very cautious when updating drivers, you could cause more problems than already have. Make sure your computer maker supports the driver.

I'm totally amazed that you found this post of mine from April to respond to. Looks like a good program. I've moved beyond my 12 yr. old Epson wide format printer though, so I don't need this for that. I can upload anything to a local print shop and pick it up within 24 hours for about what it used to cost me for quality paper and ink.

I will check this out a little closer for other uses.
