I keep hearing people say Apple's market share in phones is declining, but I have yet to see any data to back up that statement.

I *think Apple is gaining share at the moment. But if stated another way, "has Apple lost share to Android over the last year?", then the answer would be yes.

Nokia and BB have been bleeding share over the last year, and it appears that Android, and more specifically Samsung, has been picking up the bulk of it.

I'm not happy about it and frankly don't understand why... but there it is.
