What is wrong with killing children?
In your great book of death nothing... or you can just turn them into sex slaves.

"And Moses said unto them, Have ye saved all the WOMEN alive?

Behold, these caused the children of Israel, through the counsel of Balaam, to commit trespass against the LORD in the matter of PEOR, and there was a plague among the congregation of the LORD.

Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that hath known man by lying with him.
But all the women children, that have not known a man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves."

Numbers 31:15-18

“what does an atheist have to say to a grieving parent”

What an ugly and subhuman comment. Who knows how many of these parents are atheists or what their belief system is.

If you are strangers, there is little you can do without being intrusive, Certainly, if you are close enough to have a right to an intimate conversation you can listen with compassion and without judgement. Don’t be afraid of silence. And don’t be dismissive of their pain by forcing tired bromides or transparently superstitious sops on them. Don’t force your own belief system on them or try to impose your supernatural defence mechanisms on their pain.

Fortunately, all normal people understand in their hearts what pain of loss feels like. Unless someone is damaged and incapable of empathy, they will be able to give comfort in their own way.

“all the emotional posturing…”

This lout immediately begins to insult the grief and pain of people with his oh so transparent projections. As soon as I encountered that inhuman projection I thought...Sociopath.

“if we are merely bits of stardust that happens to have congregated in one of many possible manners, then there is nothing wrong or objectionable in rearranging the stardust a little.”

This statement makes Hitler look like a choir boy. He is basically saying that there is nothing wrong with murdering children (or any other heinous act) if you do not have a supernatural component in you. Being human is not enough. If Yabber does not exist as your judge , jury, and executioner, then you have no reason to be moral or to display human characteristics such as compassion and love.

Again he is projecting and basically revealing his inner being to us. He is stating clearly that it is only fear of being tortured for eternity by Jesus that keeps him from “rearranging the stardust”--his sociopath code-speak for murdering little children.

He then suggests that there is nothing wrong with reducing overpopulation by genocide. How sociopathic is that? Firstly, he is able to say that overpopulation is 'not good'--(so he clearly has some barometer of value and right and wrong--HELLO?). But his solution to something 'not good' is to do something heinous?? Hello! Is this fellow a moron as well as a lout? What code of values did this Nimrod use to determine that crowded living conditions was unsafe and 'not good' when it turns out that genocide is his "good"?? If anyone is home in that house with an outwardly human appearance...it is definitely crawling around on a sub-floor. LOL!

Please become a Christian, Gweggy! Apparently, you qualify!! -g-

"Finally, let your unsaved friends know they needn’t be good people to become Christians. Our faith teaches that we all come up short—we all sin. But by accepting Jesus, all our sins are forgiven – both our sins of the past and the ones we will inevitably commit in the future! In fact, even those committing the most evil acts imaginable will still go to Heaven, so long as they are saved. The bottom line is that being a Christian is the easiest lifestyle one could ever adopt. You need no courage, no self-esteem and no motivation. In fact, those lacking anything other than the abject desire for something better than what they now have are prime candidates for salvation. Typically, these people turn to alcohol, drugs, sex, food or some other vice. Those crutches cause liver cirrhosis, heart attacks, venereal disease and obesity. Christianity has none of those ill side effects. It’s sugar-free, fat-free and Satan-free. With this message in hand, you should have no difficulty dramatically improving the success of your witnessing and gaining new entrants to the church. After all, once your friends know that the characteristics of which they are most ashamed are precisely the characteristics that make up a True Christian®, they should have no trouble substituting Jesus for the bottle." CHUCKLES!!
