Sure open access is good... even that crazy-ass site... it's good to see that it exists and people actually believe it... THAT is good information!

What I really dislike about it though is that people unable to construct any cogent thoughts of their own are still able to "cut & paste" the gibberish of others and feel that they are presenting their OWN arguments.

Is it better to cut and paste other people's thoughts or to make factually inaccurate statements and present them authoritatively? Perhaps the question should be which is worse?

I believe the subject header refers to Lincoln's famous quote that goes something like this: It is better to be thought a fool than to open one's mouth and remove all doubt. The person to whom you are posting frequently removes all doubt.

As you know, I am very tolerant of most posters. If a person wishes to humiliate themselves I will allow it to a point.
