Ed - I'm really surprised that even in this horrible market, Donner and Teck wouldn't attempt to keep up some flow of info. They must have about 40 holes drilled by now. Maybe, just maybe this is a marriage of convenience, let the broader resource market together with the shorters have have their effect, then buy back in, then put out another "pots and pans" core assay in early January, get the drillers back by early February, onward with Voisey's Bay #2. May as well put out some optimism as neither Donner or Teck seem to capable of even a peep these days.

Looking over the charts of all the major gold producers, it looks like they have bottomed for now. I think as long as they don't start to rise and create a stampede we won't see any more bad-mouthing of gold. However, as soon as they start to rise any time and likely to the end of December, the pattern seems to be out with some bad news from somewhere.

There is also a lot of exploration bottom-fishes out there that also look like they have hit bottom. If we knew what the near short term is for gold we could do something about this situation. However, if gold is going to be under this "house arrest" situation for the next six months or more, all of the producers and good exploration companies just go into hibernation for the winter and we may as well all go skiing at Collingwood and get some exercise and fresh air.
